Meet the founders
Taking its namesake from the motels they lived out of while on the road, Will and Andy gradually grew the motel brand. In 2005, they set off on an inspiration trip to the island of Bali where a chance encounter with local creatives convinced them to put roots down and carry on the Motel journey on island time.
Where we are today
Still an independent brand to this day, Will and Andy continue to call London and Bali home, working with their global team across the UK, US, Europe and Australia, to create Motel's core collections and trend capsules. Beyond the clothes, we are inspired by our community just as much as we hope to inspire them, connecting through our in-person events and global activations.
Our Australian community has grown to be one of our most vibrant and inspiring. Our Motel girls now span from Sydney to Melbourne, Brisbane and beyond. So many of you have made Motel your go-to for bold, timeless and vintage style.
